Meet Brittney

As a licensed mental health therapist, I believe in creating a judgment-free space where you can feel and speak in a way that builds trust and acceptance.  It is my goal to help you uncover wounds and get on a path of healing. 

Being raised in poverty, abuse and dysfunction, I understand trauma, anxiety and depression on a personal level.  I had my first son when I was very young and know how scary and lonely life can get. 

With therapy, I was able to learn how to process the past, develop positive coping strategies and participate in the life I wanted to steward.  God has always been guiding me, but it wasn't until the last few years that I started to see how much his love and grace have supported my whole existence. I now have an amazing husband and four sons spanning ages from 20 years to 8 months old. 

I graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree from Oregon State University and went on to get my Master's of Science degree in Community Mental Health from the University of Wyoming. I am licensed in both South Dakota and Wyoming. 

I have an extensive background working with all ages, including individuals, couples, families and community outreach programs.  I have worked with diverse populations ranging from rural to urban and various struggles including trauma, grief, addiction, anxiety, depression and relationship issues. 

I am a Certified Family Trauma Professional and EMDR therapist. 

I am an Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist and a Technology Addiction and Digital Wellness Specialist. I have further training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. 

I use a psychodynamic approach to help facilitate healing and find your path toward personal joy and healthy relationships.
